Dreaming of dogs is a normal occurrence especially if the dreamer is a dog-lover. However, there are times that the scenario being dreamt varies – there are dogs being treated well while others see the so-called “Man’s best friend” being treated harshly. The dreamer then comes up with a worrying question – what do these contrasting situations mean?
According to dream experts, dogs or puppies specifically symbolize babies.
Thus, this dream usually occurs to those who are about to be parents or are already parents. This symbolizes responsibility because once the child is welcomed to the world, there’s a choice whether to treat the child well and fairly or otherwise.
This serves as a challenge for parents out there to be the best influence for their children. This is not an easy task especially with the harsh environment that they may live in.

The Eastwood City grounds in Quezon City, Philippines have become the place to be for fortune seekers as the Psychic Festival is being staged in the premises. This week long activity will end on February 28. Modern day “seers” are said to conduct dream interpretations and predict the future of the clients.
Divination skills offered include Palmistry and Astrology. For those who are interested in Feng Shui and Numerology, certain individuals are available for consultation.
Gaining popularity is the tarot card reading activity wherein cards are used to take a sneak peek into one’s fate, and the focus is mainly on money and love.
Organizers said that people flock at these kinds of festivals because it would be fun to dwell on what is unknown, even though these readings are not approved by the Catholic Church. Philippines is predominantly a Catholic country.

dream analyses
Each one of us experiences dreams during our sleep. It would be unusual if we haven’t encountered such in our lifetime. However, there’s always that constant wonderment as to what these dreams mean and how these affect our daily lives.

Holos University psychologist and professor Marcia Emery explained that dreams most of the time provide insight to things that we go through in our daily lives. In a way, she believes that these messages depicted by the images serve as insights on how we can foretell the future, overcome personal obstacles and even deal with health problems.
Most of the time our dreams come in symbolic forms according to Emery. However, there may be others that can be literal in nature.
She cited one example: falling teeth. She said that this represents a sense of worry about the dream’s personal appearance or how others perceive him or her. Another definition would be for the dreamer’s lack of self-confidence which needs resolving in waking life. Another dream may be of wearing pajamas in public for example at work which means that the dreamer feels exposed or vulnerable in real life.
Several ideas were shared during the recently concluded International Association for the Study of Dreams conference. Emery was one of the participants of the event attended by fellow psychologists and other professionals.

Dreams Interpretation
Studying dreams can be entertaining and informative at the same time. You don’t have to look far when it comes to finding the meaning of your dreams. Here are some common dreams that have been interpreted by dream experts based on their study. These might be helpful in your search for life meanings:
- Teeth: Does your dream involve falling, rotten or crooked teeth? These occurrences may be a signal for you to start improving your image to other people. Sometimes, the occurrences of having bad teeth mean that you are conscious about your look and how others look at you. Losing teeth could also mean losing grip in your life. It may be the best time to look into your thoughts and feelings.
- Driving: If you see yourself driving in a dream then you are deliberating about your path in the future. There are several crossroads ahead and it is up to you to take which is the right one. In your waking life, think about the major decisions that you are about to make, may it be about work or relationships with your loved ones.
Always remember, that at the end of the day, these interpretations are general in nature and serves as a guide. It’s up to you to decide how to live your life.

Edgar Cayce, a popular U.S.-based psychic, has come up with his interpretation of some common dreams that we experience.
1. Vehicular problems: This dream usually occurs to people who don’t know how to drive. The dreamer may find the vehicle not having brakes or about to collide with another vehicle or about to fall off a cliff. The dream serves as a symbol of a person’s life path. According to Cayce, you may be encountering some events in your life that you could not control.
2. Flunking in exams: This dream usually happens to those who’ve been out of school for a long period of time. The dream may include not finishing the test on time, getting lost in the school grounds and not having the necessary requirements before taking the exam. Dream interpreters said that this has something to do with having frustrations about not achieving a goal or fear of not being accepted by the public.
3. Death or illness: This means that you have been hurt emotionally or fearful of being hurt in the long run.
4. Being chased around: This usually happens when you are stressed. Running from something dangerous in the dream is our instinct reaction to the threats of the world. We tend to avoid confronting the situation instead.
5. Missing teeth: It means that we are conscious about our looks and afraid of being ridiculed.

Dreams Interpretation
Dream analysis is basically the method used to analyse and interpret one’s dreams. To interpret one’s dreams, the person needs to determine the type of dream he is dealing with. There are basically two types or two categories of dream analysis: the dreams that are generated from the person’s physical body, or the dreams that come from spiritual tutors and guides. These two categories have different purposes and it is important that the person recognises these differences and what these differences mean to him as well as how the person interacts in both his dreaming and waking state.
Another way to analyse one’s dream is to know and absorb the information a person gets when he is sleeping. When a person is asleep, so are his physical components. The five senses of a person, tasting, smelling, seeing, hearing and feeling as well as the person’s ego serve as the controlling master but all these are temporarily deactivated when a person is sleeping. Only the sixth sense of the person is working. Therefore, it is necessary that whatever information is absorbed by the sixth sense should also be absorbed by another sense that is working – the mental state.
People dream almost every time they sleep. Some dreams are good and tranquil. These kinds of dreams wake you up and leave you peaceful the whole day.
On the other hand, some dreams are terrifying. These are dreams that wake you in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. Other dreams are vivid and story like. Dreams like that sometimes leave you tired in the mornings. They give you the feeling of being busy all night.
Most of these dreams are cast away immediately as products of the unconscious mind, while others bother the dreamer enough to seek an interpretation. The problem is that not everyone has immediate access to a dream interpreter or a dream dictionary. In cases like that, the dreamer can easily interpret his own dream by looking at recent or future events in his life.
To start off, the dreamer must write down as much of the dream as he can remember. This should be done first because dreamers loose more information as wakefulness continues. After that, the dreamer should read what he has written and highlight significant, odd and recurrent symbols. In example, the dreamer has dreamt of a death in the family. He should find out if he has been worried about the physical or emotional health of a close relative or family member.
