Actor Johnny Depp revealed that he had to bury his dreams to become a pop star after being rejected by an indie band called “Babybird.”
The 46-year old actor asked to perform live with the group but the band thinks that it would be best not to include the actor. Depp is one of the financier of the band’s new album according to reports.
The band said that including the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star in their concerts would cause a challenge in security considering that there’s a lot of Depp fans globally.
Stephen Jones, the 47-year old vocalist of the group, said that it would have been “madness” to include the global star.
Depp is currently seen in the hit adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland.”
