A group of teachers and students from the Oklahoma City School of Metaphysics recently visited the Jacobson House Native Art Center to assist people in dream interpretation. It is common knowledge that all people experience having dreams but never quite understanding the meaning of it.

Oklahoma City School of Metaphysics professor Doug Banister stated in an interview with local media that dreams usually give the person an insight in his or her life. He stressed that these should not be ignored because they are meaningful regardless of what those images are. He cited an example wherein dreams about clothes usually mean a person’s way of expressing himself while hands represent life’s purpose.

The group had a great time at the center and the activity lasted for the entire day. Aside from that, a group of artists were also present to paint out the images of common dreams while the school’s students discuss to the visitors the meaning of each.

The event was part of the national Dream Awareness Weekend, a regular activity conducted by the school. In the past, dream interpretations were usually done over the phone but organizers thought that it’s time to take things to another level.
